You can view sites according to the following criteria:

According to Site State (Enabled, Waiting, On Hold, Suspended).
Sites with credits currently allocated to them.

You will also be able to search for any site in the site list.
You can also click on any of the URLs in the site list to view/edit detailed information on each site.

Banner List

Here you can view any banners submitted into the system, this function is almost exactally similar to "Site List" except it lists user's submitted banners to be shown on the surfbar.

Abuse Reports

Here you can view any abuse reports submitted by any users.

Users will report sites they feel break your rules, these sites can contain popups, framebreakers which stop the surfing, or questionable material.

When you view an abuse report the last three sites the user viewed will be shown, you should check all three sites for anything wrong with them.

If you were surfing your own site and viewed a site you wanted to find you can also login to your /control menu and click on "Site List" then "Sites With Credits" to view a list of any sites that currently have credits in the system.

You can also delete all abuse reports with the click of a button.

Content/HTML

This is where you can edit the various pages of your traffic exchange.

To edit your homepage you have to edit a file called "index.html" directly.

This page contains a few diffrent sections:

Cascading Style Sheets:
Here you can edit certian elements of the site if you understand how to edit Cascading Style Sheets.  You must also edit this file directly "style.css", you cannot edit it through the /control menu.

Site first page (HTML):
THIS PART IS IRRELIVANT - The homepage of the system is handled directly by "index.html".

Terms & conditions (HTML):

Here you can enter your terms & conditions that a user must agree to before signing up to your traffic exchange.  You can also enter HTML commands here too.

Main page header (HTML):
You can enter HTML Code here to be displayed on the top of the Signup Page of the traffic exchange.

Main page footer (HTML):
You can enter HTML Code here to be displayed on the bottom of the Signup Page of the traffic exchange.

User area header (HTML):
Here you can enter HTML Code to be dispayed at the top of the User's Area Pages of the traffic exchange.

User area footer (HTML):
Here you can enter HTML Code to be displayed at the bottom of the User's Area Pages of the traffic exchange.

'Thank you' page (HTML):
Here you can edit the thank you message a user sees after he signs up to the traffic exchange.

Sell Credits

Enter the following information to sell credits:

Email Address: (Your Paypal Email Address)
Package Title: (How Many Credits You Are Selling, Additional Info)
Cost: (How much you want to charge for the credits package)

Submit that info - THE PAYPAL BUTTONS ARE AUTOMATICALLY SETUP FOR YOU!!

Once you setup a credits package a user can view that package available under "Buy Credits" in the members area.

When a user purchases credits you will have to manually add the credits to the user's account.

Sell Accounts

***IMPORTANT NOTE - Do not delete Entry #1 - That is the "Basic" account package all users are setup with when they signup to the exchange.  You may edit this entry, but DO NOT DELETE IT.

Here you can setup diffrent membership levels for your traffic exchange.

With diffrent membership levels you can offer users diffrent:

*Ratios - Or credits earned for viewing each site.
* Credits Automatically added to their account.

Here are the fields you have to fill in to make a new membership level, ALL FIELDS NEED TO BE FILLED IN FOR THIS TO WORK:

Email: (Your Paypal Email Address)
Package Title: (Membership Level Title)
Cost: (How Much You want to charge)
Time: (How often you want to charge user)
Period: (How often you want to charge user) - Day Week Month Year
Minimized rate: (# Of credits user receives when they view a site)
Maximized rate: (# Of credits user receives when they view a site)
Auto Credit Transfer: (How many credits to automatically add to the users account)
Auto Day Transfer: (Number of days to wait before adding automatic credits)
Description: (Description of the membership package).

Fill out all this information and click save, your paypal subscription button will be automatically setup for you.
The user can now view this upgrade option under "Upgrade Account" in the member's area.

Okay, a couple things need explained here:

Minimized Rate & Maximized Rate: Set these two values to the same number.

Auto Credit Transfer: 5000
Auto Day Transfer: 30

The above example would add 5,000 credits to any user's account with this membership level every 30 days!

Also the COST, PERIOD & TIME options need some clarification:

Take Following Example:

Cost: 5.00
Period: 1
Time: M

The above example would create a paypal subscription button which would charge the user $5.00 every 1 Month.

When a user upgrades his account you need to go to the /control menu, click on "User List", find the user, and upgrade his membership level in the detailed user list.

If you give a certian ammount of initial credits for upgrading you need to add those manually, the "Auto Credit" option won't kick in until the "Auto Credit Day" time is up.

E-mail Users

Simple, this function sends an email out to all the users signed up at the traffic exchange.

Banners

Here you can upload referral banners advertising your traffic exchange for your members to use to put on their websites to gain referrals.  Once you upload a banner here it can then be viewed under "Banners" in the Member's Area.

F.A.Q

Here you can fill in info which will be displayed in the Member's Area under "FAQ" (which stands for "Frequently Asked Questions").  If users frequently ask you questions why not just input the questions & answers here so they can find the answers without having to email you.

Text Ads

This function no longer has any effect.

Weekly Stats

Here you can view all the weekly traffic stats for your website.

You can view:

*Users Credits Earned
*Users Sites Shown
*Total Sites Shown
*Default Site Hits

Rotate Banner

Here you can add banners that can be viewed on the surfbar.

Note: All banners here will only be shown after all the user submitted banners under "Banner List" have no credits allocated to them.

When setting up a new banner it gives you the following options:

User: (It does not matter what user you select, it is totally irrelivant)
Banner location: (This is the URL of the banner you want shown)
Alttext: (This is the text shown if images are turned off)
Link: (This is the website user goes to when they click the banner)
Points: (This is how many times you want the banner to be shown)

Referral URL

Here you can set how many credits a user gets for sending someone to their referral page.

With this function you can give your users credits based on each daily unique hit they send to their referral page, reguardless if the user signs up or not.

One thing to note, this gives credit per unique visitor to the SITE that day, not to that particular referral link.  For example if User #2 sends someone to his referral link, then User #20 sends that same person to his referral link, only user #2 will get credit for that unique visitor.

Optimize Tables

Click this button once in a while to repair & optimize all the data contained in your mysql database, it helps the system run more efficiently.

Refer Level

Setup Unlimited Referral Levels!

Here you can offer your users referral bonuses on multiple referral levels.

You can set the number of credits a referrant gets when a new user signs up on each level.
You can also set how many credits a referrant gets per site viewed by their referral on each level.

Level 1: I Refer Bob.
Level 2: Bob Refers Mary
Level 3: Mary Refers George
Level 4: George Refers Gary

In above example Gary is my level 4 referrant, when Gary signs up I will get whatever signup bonus is setup for Level 4 and how ever many credits setup under level 4 under "Per Site Viewed" every time he views a site.

Log Out

Clicking logout will clear the list of "New Users" viewed under "Stats" which is shown when you first login.  This option of course also logs you off the admin menu.

That's the whole admin menu!

Here are a couple other things to keep in mind:

When you first purchase your traffic exchange:

*Login Admin Menu
*Click On "Authorization" and change your email address.
*Click on "Properties" and change your default site & default banners.

Think of your traffic exchange as a casino:

You want the user to want to login & surf, but you want to make sure traffic is being generated by those users.

Under no circumstances do you want a user to earn more than 1 credit per site viewed unless they are an upgraded paying member.

Here are a couple things to take into consideration when making sure your user's aren't getting more than 1 credit per site viewed:

- Min & Max Rate Setup under "Sell Accounts" for the Basic Account.
- Credits given "Per Site Viewed" under "Refer Level" on each level.
- Contest bonus links setup under "Properties".

Take the Min&Max Rate, add that total to all the "Per Site Viewed" credits being given on each level under "Refer Level", also add the average # of credits a user would recieve per site if they clicked on each bonus link, if that number is below 1 you are okay, if it is above 1 you are running a traffic exchange that is paying out more than it is generating.

No casino would survive if it had a 150% payout to all it's customers, neither will your traffic exchange.
